You will join this team of national MSLs who work flexibly across the enterprise to support cross therapeutic pipeline and inline medicines. The MSLs will broadly be responsible for scientifically engaging, collaborating and aligning with a wide range of external stakeholders to address identified patient needs and ultimately change the practice of medicine for better patient access and outcomes. These MSLs will be assigned on a project basis to meet changing business needs over time.

About the Role

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Leveraging and integrating insights from Healthcare Professionals, Healthcare Systems and Policy Makers to shape disease area and patient strategies.
  • Impact and inform the Integrated Product Strategy (IPS), Integrated Evidence Generation Plans, launch excellence roadmap, Patient Journey and medical strategies.
  • Understand unmet medical needs, disease and competitive landscape and treatment practice
  • Evaluate the impact of events/actions on the whole healthcare system, both on the long and short term.
  • Co-create with other functions and develops strategies to maximise clinical potential of compounds throughout their life cycle.
  • Generate and implement disruptive and innovative ideas and solutions to positively impact healthcare systems.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in field-medical function, with experience in product launch ideally
  • Strong agile learning capabilities, with capability of quick, self-directed learning
  • Advanced engagement skills
  • Working knowledge of the UK health care system
  • Experience in effective collaboration to co-create value
  • Scientific/medical/pharmacy degree or equivalent medical/clinical/scientific experience is required
  • Desired – Medical qualification, Pharmacy qualification, or Doctorate (PhD in scientific/medical background) or equivalent post-graduate degree in health/life sciences
